Jillian Nellie Hennely was born 25 November, 1968. She is a renowned Canadian singer and actress with a notable contribution to American TV. Her work has received praise for her outstanding performances on the American television show Law & Order in which she was awe-inspiring to the viewers for three seasons, playing the the prosecutor Claire Kincaid, and Crossing Jordan for six years where she was the protagonist Jordan Cavanaugh. Hennessy has also showcased her talent in movies like RoboCop 3 Most Wanted, Chutney Popcorn, and The Acting Class. She also produced and wrote these movies. Hennessy started her acting career in the year 1988 with her sister as twin call girls in the film Dead Ringers. She briefly appeared in Buddy the Musical - The Buddy Holly Story on Broadway in 1990. In 1993, the actress left the realm of musicals, and into the sci-fi genre with Doctor. Marie Lazarus. The big break came later in the year, when she was cast as assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the hit NBC drama Law & Order. Three seasons of her role proved to be a huge hit with audiences. She left in 1996. Parker has been featured in films and TV shows, including RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys on the Side The West Wing Angels in America and The West Wing Angels in America, for which she won a Golden Globe and an Emmy Award for the Best Supporting Actress. Parker was also the winner for the award in 2001. Tony Award for Best Actress for the Broadway play Proof.
